Tis the Season for High School Choice

Hundreds of parents attended the recent High School Choice Fair at Cabrillo High School as deadlines loom for students to return applications for special programs.

The Long Beach Unified School District offers a wide array of choices to accommodate students' specific interests and needs.  In fact, about 40 percent of students attend a school outside their own neighborhood. This year's choices include the nearly completed McBride High School, which is scheduled to open next fall.
